Pyridine (3.628 ml, 0.25 M) was then added to the mixture and it was stirred at 110 ¡ãC for 17 hours. The mixture was diluted with methanol and was condensed under reduced pressure. The crude material was purified by column chromatography (ISCO, 24 g silica column, 0 to 10percent MeOH/DCM 25 minute gradient) to give a white oil (150 mg, 57.4 percent yield).1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6) delta 10.95 (s, 1H), 7.62 (dd, J = 8.4, 7.2 Hz, 1H), 7.27- 7.16 (m, 2H), 2.75- 2.62 (m, 1H), 2.55 (dd, J = 14.0, 4.3 Hz, 1H), 2.05- 1.96 (m, 1H), 1.86 (s, 3H).
